Kappa Delta at Colorado State University

While attending the Founder's Day event for the Denver Kappa Delta Alumnae Chapter, I was invited to visit the KD house at Colorado State University. It was wonderful to meet the amazing young women who are today's Kappa Deltas.  I ate dinner with them and they shared their hopes and dreams with me. I will treasure this time with them.

My sorority sister and tour guide is the lovely Dana. She was a terrific tour guide and took so much pride in showing me the newly remodeled house. I am sure it helped this chapter reach max capacity for the first time in it's history at CSU.

  1. This is a new coalition organized by Kappa Delta that I thought you might be interested in and would like to become involved in. www.confidencecoalition.org is the website.

    Introduction:
    Go Confidently!
It’s time to take back our dreams and live the lives we imagine. Become more confident and join the movement to promote confidence in others. That means standing up against media stereotypes, saying “no” to peer pressure and risky behaviors, putting an end to spousal and dating abuse, not participating in relational aggression like bullying, gossiping and hazing.

The Confidence Coalition brings together all of the organizations, companies and individuals committed to promoting confidence among girls and women. And we’re a force to be reckoned with!

Organized by Kappa Delta Sorority in the Spring of 2009, the Confidence Coalition mobilizes the many organizations, companies and individuals that promote self-esteem and confidence among girls and women. Together we are committed to reaching the women and girls in our nation with the message that they are good enough, that they can make their dreams a reality.

By banding together to launch a national media campaign, Web site and action projects, we are bringing awareness to the many issues that can affect the confidence of women and girls.

The Confidence Coalition is possible through the generous support of the Kappa Delta Foundation, the funding arm of Kappa Delta Sorority.
