On Saturday, August 29th, I worked the Cystic Fibrosis Bike Ride with Chaplain Rourk and the Colorado Royalty Association. It is always wonderful to support Cystic Fibrosis and the work they are doing to find a cure for this devastating genetic disorder.
I served lunch to the tired and hungry riders as they returned from their bike rides, the longest being 69 miles in length. Behind me was a band playing and there was ice cream donated by a local company. Luckily there was a cloud cover that kept the temperature pleasant. Overall, it was a great day!
